Meet Our Pastor
Pastor and Author - Leo Kuykendall
Pastor Kuykendall has been the Lead Pastor of Zion Baptist Church since December of 1993. He and his wife Carolyn have been married since 1957 and have 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. The youngest of 6 siblings, Pastor Kuykendall was born and raised in Canton, NC where he graduated from Canton High School. Pastor Kuykendall has spent time studying at Mt Pisgah Baptist Bible Institute and Fruitland Bible College. He attended, graduated, and received degrees from Tabernacle Bible Institute and Gardner Webb University. Prior to serving as Lead Pastor of Zion Baptist Church, Pastor Kuykendall spent time as Pastor of Good News Baptist Church in Candler and Zion Hill Baptist Church in Marion.
