Plan a Visit
Getting Prepared
We understand that visiting a new church can be an intimidating experience for many people. To help make the process easier and allow you to learn more about us beforehand, we have prepared this page with important information about our congregation, beliefs, worship style, and directions to our church.

Trinity
We believe in the Doctrine of the Trinity. That God is ONE God represented and united in three distinct persons each equal in nature; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Incarnation
We believe that Jesus condescended from glory, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of a virgin. That God wrapped Himself in a robe of flesh, becoming fully man while remaining fully God, The God-man. We believe that John 1:14 is the hinge upon which the door of salvation swings open.
Inspiration
We believe that the Bible is divinely inspired and through the sovereignty of God, the Holy Spirit moved upon those chosen by God to record His written Word. The Bible is truly a revelation from The Lord to the generations of men to lead, to guide, to seek, to search, and to save.
Inerrancy
We believe that the Bible is inerrant, meaning that it is without error of any kind and that the Scriptures are authoritative, accurate, infallible and can be trusted completely.
Canonicity
We hold true to our traditional, old-fashioned roots and convictions without apology concerning the King James Version of the Bible. We believe that the King James Version is the most literal translation and that it was transcribed from the best manuscripts, and that it is the divinely inspired Word of God in its purest form in the English language.
Interpretation
We believe that because the Word of God is divinely written, it must be divinely read. Therefore God must illuminate our hearts and minds to discern this spiritually inspired book.
Preservation
We believe that the Bible is a mirror into the hearts and souls of men. Hebrews 4:12 tells us that “the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” The Word of God has been the subject and the target of attack, discrimination, and persecution. Many men have sought to rid the world of its existence, yet, the Word of God has endured, it has persevered, it has stood the test of time, and by the Hand of God it has prevailed. The more it is persecuted, the greater the light from within its pages shines.
Fallen Man
We believe that when Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, mankind was plunged into sin. Due to the fall of man as recorded in the events shortly after God’s creation, we believe that every man and woman born of Adam’s stock is born a sinner in need of a Saviour.
Atonement
We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ is the atonement for our sins. On a hill called Mount Calvary God placed the sins of the world upon His Son who willing bore them and was accepted as the ultimate sacrifice for all.
Salvation
We believe in a whosoever salvation. Some interpret the Bible as to saying that God elected or predestined some to heaven and others to hell. However, the Bible clearly and emphatically states as a common theme throughout the Scriptures that Christ died for all men. Salvation has been supplied, however, it must be applied.
Ordinances
We believe that there are just two ordinances for the New Testament church. One is Baptism and the second is the Lord’s Supper, both speak of his death, in that we are always to remember what he did for us on the cross.
-Baptism speaks of the fact that Christ died, was buried and on the third day he rose; this is what we say that we believe when we consent to baptism. Also it is a testimony to the world that you have died out to sin and have buried the “old man” and “old life” and have risen to walk a new life in Christ.
-The Lord’s Supper speaks of the broken body and the shed blood of Jesus Christ. We are to partake of that and as often as we do it we show the Lord’s death until he comes. Thus we are to never to forget what he did for us on the cross.
Eternal Security
We believe that when the Bible is read as a entire work, the context of the Scriptures plainly teach and preach Eternal Security.
Christ’s Eminent Return
We believe that Christ Himself will return just as He promised in John 14:2-3, “I go to prepare a place for you and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

Our Mission
Zion Baptist Church was created to preach the message of Jesus Christ; to save those who are lost; to pray in Jesus name; to worship our Savior; to protect Christian Liberties; and do all these things to the glory and honor of God.
Our Vision
Preparing Laborers; Working the Fields; Harvesting Souls

Worship Service Style
Our service is what would be considered a Traditional worship experience that includes singing traditional gospel songs from a hymnal, an offering plate passed through the rows of pews, special singers performing traditional gospel songs in front of the congregation, sermons that are prepared and delivered through the use of a 1611 King James Version Bible, and an altar call at the end of the service for those who are in need of prayer or salvation to come forward.
What To Wear
We encourage everyone to come as you are. However, if you would prefer to wear the same attire as most of our members, you may dress as follows:
-Men and Boys: Suits or Button-Up Shirts with dress pants and dress shoes.
-Women and Girls: Dresses with a length that falls below the knees, shirts without a low-cut front paired with a skirt that has a length that falls below the knees, or shirts without a low-cut front paired with dress pants.
